1. Recommendation Reason:
Wuhan University is a key university directly under the administration of the Education Ministry of the People's Republic of China. It is located in Hubei Province's capital Wuhan known as "The thoroughfare leading to nine provinces".
Software engineering is an engineering science focusing on the research of large-scale software development methods, tools and management. The key characteristic of software engineering is based on the engineering principles and methods which are used to organize and standardize the software development process. The main research contents of software engineering include software development methodology and environments, software tools and integration technology, software automation and automated testing techniques, software quality control and software reuse technology.
2. Entry Requirements
Basic Requirements:
Applicants should be healthy and well-behaved, having foreign citizenship. Applicants for Master' s degree programs should have undergraduate study background equivalent to Chinese Bachelor' s degree.
For those applicants who give up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens, the conditions set by Document No.83(2009) of Ministry of Education of the PRC should be met: Applicants who wish to study in China must have valid foreign passport or citizenship documents for more than 4 years (inclusive) and have lived in the foreign country for more than 2 years within the recent 4 years (up to April 30th of the academic year). (The actual year of residence in a foreign country for 9 months can be counted as one year, and the entry and exit stamps shall prevail.)
Degree Requirement: Master degree.
Age Limitation: Age between 25 to 35.
Average Score Requirement: Applicants should have good academic records.
English Proficiency Requirement: Yes
English Language Certificate Requirement:
English Language Requirements: TOEFL requires 80, IELTS requires 5.5. For those who could not offer the above mentioned standard English test results, additional oral or written English test organized by Wuhan University will be required to participate in.

If you do not have IELTS or TOEFL, please provide an official certificate issued by your high school which should certify that the medium of instruction in your high school study is English
